About Wheel Straps with Claw Hooks

Our wheel straps with claw hooks incorporate a 50mm wide ratchet strap system which is 4 metres long. The choker strap consists of a round sling which has a 0.5 metre effective working length (EWL) this sling has a 1 tonne WLL.

The choker strap also has a wear sleeve which is 0.3 metres, thus covering most of the choker strap, just leaving enough of the sling visible at each end to form the eyes that the ratchet strap will pass through when anchoring the wheel. These straps are often referred to as a soft link choker strap.

Simple claw hooks are fitted to each of the two parts of the ratchet strap for quick and easy anchoring to appropriate points on the truck bed. If you would prefer a safety hook then try our car transporter straps with flat snap hooks instead.
